The area below the removable pots on Centaur Pizza cabinets is made of four vertical stainless steel panels supported by a plastic extrusion. The two end panels are U shaped, and the front and back panels are straight. It has been found that in some cases, these panels do not have a reliable earth back to the cabinet body. As these models have a heating element around the top of the pot area, it is recommended to perform an earth bond modification during the next service visit. A kit including parts and instructions to complete the modification has been created. See below for kit part number. Instruction sheet PRN80161 details the modification.
Centaur Pizza models manufactured prior to August 2018. Model numbers and descriptions are shown in the table below.
The cabinet model number and manufacturing date can be found on the cabinet rating label, located in the cabinet interior. The manufacturing date is included in the serial number. The first 2 numbers of the serial number show the year of manufacture (18 = 2018), and second 2 numbers show the month of manufacture (04 = April).
