Backbar Sliding Door Models - Door Height Change

Overview

To improve door stability on Backbar sliding door cabinets, the door height has been increased by 3mm (from 810mm to 813mm).

Models Affected

Cabinets manufactured from March 2017 are fitted with the taller door. The manufacturing date can be found on the cabinet rating label, located on the top of the refrigeration unit. The manufacturing date is included in the serial number. The first 2 numbers of the serial number show the year of manufacture (17 = 2017), and second 2 numbers show the month of manufacture (03 = March).

Spare Parts

The taller door assembly can be used to replace the shorter door assembly without modification. Part numbers for the door assembly and components remain the same. Due to the height difference, a kit has been created for replacing the door frame vertical extrusion on cabinets manufactured prior to March 2017. The kit includes 1 × LH and 1 × RH vertical frame extrusion assemblies and an installation instruction sheet (PRN80044). Refer to the table below for kit part number.
