Overview
SKOPE has produced a condenser fan motor noise reduction kit which can be retrofitted into Backbar and
Counterline refrigeration units. The noise reduction kit creates a significant reduction in cabinet noise, making
Backbar and Counterline chillers suitable for use in noise sensitive environments.
The retrofit involves replacing the condenser fan motor assembly with a quieter fan motor assembly which
runs at reduced speeds.
The noise reduction fan motor does not affect chiller operation, performance or efficiency, and the chiller will
continue to run as normal.
Retrofit Kits
All parts required to complete the retrofit are included in the kit. Order the kit using the kit part number below.
Retrofit Procedure
The retrofit involves removing the condenser fan motor assembly and fitting the condenser fan motor noise
reduction kit. Refer to the instruction sheet (PRN11132) included with the kit for full retrofit instructions.
Ensure all work is completed by an authorised service agent and that all applicable electrical safety tests are done once the work is completed.
