ActiveCore - Password Protected Set Point Parameter

Overview

The set point parameter on ActiveCore chiller electronic controllers is user adjustable and should not be password protected. However on ActiveCore chillers manufactured from April 2017 to November 2017, the electronic controller was programmed with the set point parameter password protected. Follow the procedure below to access and change a password protected set point.

SKOPE does not recommend that the setpoint be changed unless it is absolutely necessary, and then only by small increments at a time.

Parameter changes can result in abnormal chiller operation. Password protected parameters must only be adjusted by an authorised service technician or qualified person.

Models Affected

ActiveCore chillers manufactured between April 2017 and November 2017 requiring set point adjustment. The manufacturing date can be found on the cabinet rating label, located on or near the chiller ceiling.

The manufacturing date is included in the serial number. The first 2 numbers of the serial number show the year of manufacture (17 = 2017), and second 2 numbers show the month of manufacture (04 = April).
