Green Door Pricing Offer

Terms & Conditions

SKOPE means SKOPE Industries Limited ABN 73 374 418 306 / NZBN 9429031991544 of 57 Princess Street, Riccarton, Christchurch 8041, New Zealand.

Green Door Pricing sees an Energy Savings Certificate incentives applied to selected SKOPE products. This is all enabled by following government schemes:

  • New South Wales: NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS)
  • Victoria: Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEU/VEET)

After purchasing one of our eligible products from our Retailer network, Green Door Pricing incorporates the process of SKOPE calculating and facilitating the creation of Energy Saving Certificates together with the delivery and installation of these products to you, subject to:

  • Customer satisfying relevant legislative requirements (see below)
  • Product eligibility (see listed models below)
  • Completion of relevant state Energy Savings Certificate assignment forms
  • Delivery conditions (see below)
  • Installation conditions (see below)

In order for SKOPE to provide The Green Door Price, you agree to all delivery and installation conditions as outlined below. SKOPE will reject any Green Door Pricing where the eligibility criteria is not met or where the criteria requirement as part of Assignment forms are not completed.

These government schemes are subject to change and SKOPE is not liable for any changes to how the schemes operate, who is eligible to participate and how the Energy Savings Certificates are calculated.

“You” and “Your” means the Customer identified in the Nomination or Assignment Form and where the context requires, includes any officer, employee, subcontractor or agent of the Customer.

  1. Energy Savings Certificate incentive pricing

The price of Energy Savings Certificates is driven by supply and demand and can therefore fluctuate. The Green Door Pricing shown on our website via our Green Door Price calculator and marketing by our Retailer Network can vary between the date of the calculation and the date of installation. SKOPE may also adjust the Green Door Pricing from time to time and you acknowledge that such adjustment may result in a commensurate change to the balance of the purchase price of any Products being purchased through our Retailer Network.

  1. NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS)

The ESS is driving energy efficiency upgrades in NSW by providing financial incentives to make energy efficiency and renewable energy projects more affordable and attractive. It is administered by the Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART). The New South Wales based mandatory energy efficiency scheme, introduced by the New South Wales government in 2009 pursuant to the Electricity Supply Act 1995, the Electricity Supply (General) Regulation 2014 and the Energy Savings Scheme Rule of 2009. The NESS works by establishing a market for tradeable ESCs.

 Eligibility for Green Door Pricing under the ESS is:

  1. Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEU/VEET)

The VEU scheme, (also known as Victorian Energy Efficiency Target, or VEET Scheme) is driving energy efficiency upgrades in Victoria by providing financial incentives to make implementation more affordable and attractive for households and business. It is administered by the Essential Services Commission (ESC). The Victorian based mandatory energy efficiency scheme, introduced by the Victorian government in 2009 pursuant to the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Act 2007, the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Regulations 2008 and the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (Project Based Activities) Regulations 2017. The VEU works by establishing a market for tradeable VEECs. The VEU Scheme was previously known as the VEET Scheme. VEEC means a “Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificate”, being one or more certificates generated from completed and verified energy savings initiatives under the VEU, which are created by an AP and validated by the Regulator prior to registration. The VEECs are made by an AP when energy saving activities are undertaken that improve energy efficiency in a variety of residential, commercial and industrial settings. Eligibility for Green Door Pricing under the VEU is:

  1. Small Business Energy Saver Program (SBES)

In Victoria, there is currently a temporary bonus incentive to small businesses to upgrade operating equipment to increase energy efficiency. SKOPE’s current SBES offer ends the earlier of 17 December 2021 or when the government funds for SBES are exhausted.

  1. Delivery Conditions

Green Door Pricing is only applicable where the delivery and installation at the premises is manged by SKOPE or our subcontractors. Premises mean the Customer’s address at which the Products will be Installed.

All eligible models qualify for free premium delivery, valued at $200. This includes:

  • Door-to-door delivery for your purchased SKOPE fridge or freezer
  • On-site installation
  • Packaging and waste removal

Additional costs apply for the following:

  • Delivery requiring equipment to be taken up a staircase
  • Low-clearance access (refrigeration cartridge removal)
  • Removal and disposal of existing equipment
  • Delivery beyond 100km of CBD

If delivery conditions are not met we cannot generate Energy Saving Certificates. If these conditions are not met the delivery will be rejected and the customer charged for a futile delivery.

  1. Installation Conditions

The Green Door Pricing products will only be installed by a SKOPE nominated installer. Nominated Installer means the contractor nominated by SKOPE (or their sub-contractors) to undertake the Installation of the Products on behalf of SKOPE.

Installation includes, positioning, unpackaging and confirmation of equipment running. Geotagged photos must be allowed to be taken of the running equipment and customer signs of delivery and installation is completed.

SKOPE is not liable for any damages, losses, costs or expenses incurred by you if the installation date is rescheduled for any reason.

  1. Goods and Services Tax (GST)

All Energy Saving Certificates incentives are shown in GST Exclusive values. GST means the Goods and Services Tax under the New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act and includes any other GST related legislation.

 

  1. Customer Declarations

 

You warrant that:

  • You are either the owner of the Premises or You are authorised by the owner of the Premises to complete relevant Nomination or Assignment Forms;
  • Neither You nor any prior owner or occupier of the Premises have received any funding from State or Federal Governments to undertake any energy efficient improvements at or to the Premises;
  • in relation to the VEU, the Premises are not registered under the Environmental and Resources Efficiency Plans Program administered by the Victorian Environmental Protection Authority as premises that are ineligible under the VEU or under any similar or replacement scheme or program; and
  • In relation to either:
    • the VEU, the Premises are not “scheduled activity premises” listed on the Essential Services Commission’s Register of Scheduled Activity Premises on the VEU Register under the VEU or under any similar or replacement scheme or program; or
    • the NESS, no person has previously nominated an “energy saver” for the installation of products similar to the Products at the Premises.
  • You acknowledge that in the event that the Premises are registered under the Environmental and Resources Efficiency Plans Program administered by the Victorian Environmental Protection Authority as premises that are ineligible under the VEU or under any similar or replacement scheme or program, that notwithstanding any other provision of these Terms and Conditions, Green Door Pricing will not be applicable.
  • You agree to provide SKOPE with all and any information reasonably requested by SKOPE or the Regulator relating to:
    • the Premises;
    • any energy efficient improvements undertaken at or to the Premises;
    • the energy utilised in the provision of the products at the Premises prior to the provision of Green Door Pricing;
    • any matter or information requested by a Regulator; and
    • any matter or information required by SKOPE for the purposes of the Green Door Pricing process.
    • You warrant that all information that is provided to SKOPE in accordance with clause 8.5 or by You in the Nomination Form and the Post Installation Declaration is true and correct.
