SKOPE Celebrates Clean Up Australia Day

In the lead up to Clean Up Australia Day on 5^th March, Australian-based SKOPE team members and our Sustainability Manager joined together virtually to talk about the importance of looking after our environment.

We have many team members that are passionate about our environment and keen to make a difference. Our amazing Head of Sales - Skope Funding, Anita is a champion of our oceans and talked about how rubbish makes it from our urban environments, into our waterways and out to our beaches and oceans. Anita inspired everyone with her story of how she ensures she reduces her waste, and encourages her local community to pick up rubbish.

The team had a great discussion about the types of litter we find and the impacts on our wildlife. Anita showed footage from an educational video that was often confronting. But she also helped make the connection to everyone that we can all be a part of the solution and contribute in a positive way.

Many of the team participated in Clean Up Australia Day by picking up rubbish in their local environment. Well done SKOPE!
